Sneak Peak : iCarly iGot A Hot Room

iGot A Hot Room is the Season 4 premiere of iCarly that aired on July 30th, 2010.

Spencer is building a Gummy Bear table lamp for the nightstand by Carly's bed since its Carly's birthday. But all goes downhill when Spencer asks Carly to go up-stairs to her room and see the lamp, starting a fire and destroying everything in Carly's room. Meanwhile, Gibby's grandfather who is a barber comes to the loft to give Spencer a haircut despite his eyesight problems.

Plot:


Here is a short breakdown:

• 
  Gibby's blind grandfather will be giving Spencer a haircut.
• Carly's room is burned down thanks to a gummy bear lamp Spencer made for her birthday.
• Because Carly doesn't have a bedroom anymore, Sam offers for her to stay at her house. 
• Spencer gets $82,000 because of a family heirloom that was lost in the fire.
• Everybody plans to surprise Carly with a completely re-done bedroom. Sam, Spencer, Freddie, Gibby, and some painters all work together. 
• Freddie continues to speak Spanish. 
• Sam speaks Italian.
• Carly's new bedroom is shown. 
• Carly has a small purple trampoline in her bedroom that she uses to hop into bed (confirmed in Miranda Cosgrove's interview with Regis and Kelly) 
• This is the second time that something Spencer has made has burned something of Carly's. First time was in IChristmas when Spencer's electromagnetic Christmas tree burned Carly's presents for Spencer.

The Nickelodeon hit iCarly delivers a sizzling summer surprise as the mega-hit iCarly reveals Carly’s bedroom for the first time ever in an all-new special episode, “iGot a Hot Room,” premiering Friday, July 30, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT), according to a July 20, 2010 press release from Nickelodeon. Immediately following 'iGot a Hot Room,' iCarly fans will have the opportunity to enter to win items from Carly's new bedroom. iCarly stars Miranda Cosgrove as Carly Shay, Jerry Trainor as Spencer Shay, Jennette McCurdy as Sam Puckett, Nathan Kress as Freddie Benson, T-Bo as Boogie and ,Noah Munck as Gibby.

The iCarly site will feature a brand-new game inspired by Carly’s love of gummy bears beginning on July 26, 2010. In “Carly's Gummy Bear Burst,” players must match up gummy bears to make them explode. The iCarly site will also allow fans to throw their own iCarly birthday party with show-themed party ideas, favors and games.

iGot a Hot Room

Having ruined Carly's last birthday, Spencer wants to give his sister the best birthday ever. He creates a special gift - a lamp made of gummy bears! When the her new gummy bear lamp accidentally ignites and sets fire to her bedroom, Carly's birthday fun is snuffed out. Lost in the fire is their grandmother’s irreplaceable antique watch, which is destroyed. The watch is insured, so the insurance money from the watch funds a dream bedroom for Carly. Spencers build his sister a awesome new bedroom, with the help of Sam, Freddie and Gibby.


“After three years, fans finally get the chance to see Carly’s bedroom and all of the incredible one-of-a-kind objects specially designed for her,” said Marjorie Cohn, President, Original Programming and Development, Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family Group. “Getting a tricked out bedroom as cool as Carly’s is every teen’s fantasy come true.”

Carly's 'tricked out' bedroom features a hand-made, gummy bear chandelier made of approximately 10,000 hand-strung gummy bears; a bench modeled after a classic ice cream sandwich; a giant cupcake side table; a high-tech closet with a touch pad clothing selector; and a trampoline so Carly can literally jump into bed!


Immediately following “iGot a Hot Room,” Friday, July 30, iCarly fans will have the opportunity to win items from Carly’s hot new bedroom at the Nickelodeon website, which will also launch the iCarly Hot Room Boutique where club members can get exclusive accessories and skins based on the items in her sizzling bedroom for their avatar.


During fall 2010, Nickelodeon and Activision Publishing will release the second installment in the successful videogame series inspired by iCarly. Coming to Wii™ and Nintendo DS™ systems.
